Rotomancer is designed local-first. All video and media processing happens directly on your device, and your footage is never uploaded to our servers.
The only data we collect is the minimal communication needed to activate and validate your license: your license key, a device identifier used to enforce the device limit, and the timestamp of the activation request. We do not collect your name, address, or payment details through the Software — payment information is handled solely by our payment providers (see Third-Party Services).
We do not collect your video or any content data. Detection of faces, regions, and other elements runs entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Our website uses only Vercel Analytics (anonymous) to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use cookies to collect personal data.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (international) and BOOTH (Japan). License validation is handled by Lemon Squeezy. These providers process your data under their own privacy policies.
We retain license-activation data only as long as necessary to provide and validate your license.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the license-activation data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), these rights apply to you. We do not sell personal data. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below; we aim to respond within 30 days.
Rotomancer is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
